Christopher Derrick, DC

Dr. Christopher Derrick, a graduate of Texas Chiropractic College, has a Doctorate of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas Tech University. As a student at Texas Chiropractic College, he had the opportunity to participate in hospital rotations with medical doctors specializing in orthopedics, neurology, and rheumatology.

Dr. Derrick works closely with other healthcare professionals to help patients reach their health needs and goals. Dr. Derrick continues to expand chiropractic his skill set with extensive training in Maternity Adjustments, Spinal Decompression Therapy, Nutrition, Cold Laser Therapy, and Exercise Rehabilitation.

Dr. Derrick is a resident of McKinney, TX with his wife and 4 daughters. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and attending his girls activities. He is also an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.

Physical Therapist

Deana Hicks, MSPT

Deana Hicks has been practicing physical therapy for over 24 years. She completed her education at the University of Central Arkansas with her bachelors of Science and masters of Science in physical therapy.

Deana began her careering as a traveling therapist for over 2 years and practicing in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics and rehab facilities.

Deana has worked in acute care, inpatient rehab including spinal cord and traumatic brain injury, and for the last 12 years she has focused on outpatient orthopedics with a 1 year practice specifically on foot and ankle patients. Deana enjoys treating patients of all ages.

Deana is certified in dry needling (DN), IASTM, cupping and has extensive training in manual therapy skills including joint mobilizations and soft tissue massage.

She moved to the McKinney area over 8 years ago. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her 12 year old daughter and husband. She also plays competitive tennis on two teams, golf and enjoys traveling and hiking and reading.
